The Wise Man and The Fool

what does …the Wise Man and the Fool think of a Ruler???

The Wise Man respects the position of a ruler.

The Fool reacts to the personality of a ruler.

Anytime someone cannot argue Truth, they attack the “person.”

$1 Tacos and No Debt!

Starting the new year off right…headed to $1 Taco Night at one of our favorite eating places in Nacogdoches.  We both eat for under $5 total.  Free chips, free salsa, free grilled onions and potatoes, free guacamole, free grilled jalapenos. Very fitting as I work on another book I am compiling: The Math of Life.  I’d be happy to share the unedited, 1^st draft of chapter I wrote today, “Don’t Go Into ANY Debt,” with anyone who will contact me at leemccm@gmail.com

A shoutout to Pastor Dee Daniel, FBC Timpson, for taking me to this place a few months ago!  Shame he couldn’t join us tonight…Wednesday night.

Jesus Positioning System

Instead of trying New Year’s Resolutions this year, why not try JPS?

JPS?  Well, most are familiar with GPS, Global Positioning System.  It gives you a specific location based on time and known position of GPS specialized satellites.  That’s great IF you are looking to know where you are, or you know the specific coordinates of where you want to go.  BUT…what if you don’t have the specifics of the latter?

That is the specialty of JPS.  JESUS POSITIONING SYSTEM.  There are three basic verses that give all we need to know of WHERE WE ARE TO BE, and HOW TO GET THERE…

1.  PROVERBS 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, lean not to thine understanding, but acknowledge HIM in all you do…and HE will direct thy paths.”

2.  PHILIPPIANS 4:13, “I can do ALL things through Christ, who strengthens me.”

3.  PHILIPPIANS 4:19, “My God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in Christ Jesus.”

How is your life working out for you now?

Try the JESUS POSITIONING SYSTEM for a better way!

the Presence of Christ

what does the Presence of Christ mean to you???

One of God’s greatest communicators that I ever met was Manley Beasley.  He had a piercing manner of speaking to his listener’s heart, not just the mental surface.  A favorite few words about “the presence of God” from Manley are these:

“The presence of God will not be revealed by emotional manifestations

and sensations and so on.  The presence of God will be manifested in

the sense of a knowing in the Spirit.  By a total surrender to God we

can be filled and fused with the Holy Spirit.  We can enter into the

     presence of God.”

W. A. Criswell - Revival and Resurrection

"Revival is a Christian word.  The lawless and heathen need resurrection, not revival.  Revival will save a nation.  Revival ought to characterize all that we do, all the days of our pilgrimmage."
