The Heart Is THE Issue

why do Christian leaders in our country who have a national voice…

always let discussions turn to physical and philosophical ideas, instead of scriptural truth?  God is our answer.  God is our hope.  And talking about other thoughts and ideas from the world are doing us in.

The “heart” of mankind is the issue.  God has said so.  “My son, attend to My words; incline thine ear unto My sayings.  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:20-23).

Until we see a national inundation of scriptural teaching, again and again, we will never see revival in America.

Our Work vs God's Work

we often forget…

There are things in this life that God tells us we are to do.  And there are things in this life God tells us what He will do for us.  Do you ever forget that we cannot do what only God does?  Do you ever forget that God will not do what we can do, and He has told us to do?

I find that many Believers are trying to do what God has already done for us.  And many Believers are waiting for God to do what He has told us to do.

And, then there are those parabolic statements that are misleading to those who are not hearing with the spiritual ears God has given, who are not seeing with the spiritual eyes God has given, and who are not comprehending with the spiritual mind God has given.

It’s easy to forget, isn’t it?

The "Beauty" of Life as a Christian

have your ever discovered the “Beauty” of Life as a Christian???

Life as a Christian is supposed to be simply this: discovering, reckoning, and appropriating.  Easy.  But, for some reason, most preachers and teachers make it a challenge of fighting and battling an enemy that is already defeated…plus trying and working to get what we already have.

Confusion, frustration, and defeat are often the end to a Saint’s life not being the Life of Christ.  Discover WHO you are IN CHRIST and all HE IS in you.  Then reckon it to be Truth and Reality.  Appropriate Him and enjoy the “Beauty” of Life as a Christian!
